Accommodation at Merrie Loots Farm Residential Home is provided in an Olde Worlde farmhouse atmosphere with the main part of the house being over 400 years old.  There have been extensions over the years to provide extra bedroom space and 2 conservatories have been added which give the home a nice homely atmosphere and provide smaller areas where residents can sit and chat, watch television or listen to music.

We have a modern dining room that seats approximately 24 residents in a light airy atmosphere where they can take their meals in a more social environment.  They can, of course, eat in their rooms or in the lolunge areas should they prefer.

Beds are provided for 28 residents in 26 single rooms and 1 double room, all of which meet the recommended size for residential care rooms.  Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and can choose colour schemes should their rooms need decorating in the future.  They are also encouraged, particularly in the case of those living with dementia, to bring personal items that will jog their memories and make them think of home.

Merrie Loots Farm is a non-smoking residential home.
